Bernie King and the Guilty Pleasures might be tough to bracket but they sure are easy to enjoy. A little bit blues, a little bit bluegrass, a little bit rock, and a little bit kitchen sink, a style of music that some fans have come to call “blues-grass”. You'll hear some great original songs inspired by the styles of Shane McGowan, Johnny Cash, The Rolling Stones, and Bill Monroe. With a rough and tumble mix of guitar, banjo, mandolin, bass, washboard, snare drum, and accordion.

Need a dose of good times? Bernie King and the Guilty Pleasures are what the doctor orders.
Bernie King – singing, guitar, harmonica, songwriting
John Kurtis Dehn – guitar, mandolin, banjo, singing
Julie King – percussion, accordion
Bradley Smith - bass

Friends of St Lucas Benefit

Sociable Cider Werks, 1500 Fillmore St NE, Minneapolis, MN

Friends of San Lucas In 1963, Father Greg Schaffer, from the diocese of New Ulm, MN, came to San Lucas Toliman and began work as a parish priest. Responding to the expressed needs of the community he realized that his work as a priest would be broader than he had imagined. He soon started programs in education, healthcare, construction, coffee as well as a visitor’s program inviting groups from the United States to walk alongside the people and culture of San Lucas. Fr. Greg died in 2012 and the Friends of San Lucas was born to carry on his legacy of working with the people of San Lucas to alleviate the process of poverty.

Currently, the Friends of San Lucas supports the Mission in Guatemala, which employs over 100 people working in all program areas. Almost all of the support for the work of the Mission comes through private donations.

Cinco de Mayo

10,000 Drops Distillery, 28 4th NE, Fairibault, MN

10,000 Drops is a Craft Distillery dedicated to distilling and aging the highest quality Whiskeys, Gins and Rums. It was founded with the goal of crafting the highest quality American spirits, in the spirit of the American craftsman.

The distillery is the dream for four friends who grew up together in Minnesota. After high school they went their separate directions, gaining skills in small business, retail, hospitality, chemical engineering, sustainable design and accounting. One fateful day in March of 2014 they met up for drinks and started talking about going into business for themselves. A distillery fit well with their skill sets and passion for great booze, and thus 10,000 Drops was born. They began production of their Whiskey and Rums in April of 2018 and opened their cocktail lounge on June 20th later that year.
